The Alaska Zoo was full of animals that are native to Alaska and other arctic environments. We saw foxes, wolves, bears, a polar bear, seals, etc. Jake and Ellie enjoy sitting next to each other and getting a laugh out of the other.
The closest we hope to be to a bear.
A moment of calmness for Willem and Marley. They provided a great deal of entertainment to the animals that day as they ran around, climbed fences and made silly noises. There were stamp pads at each attraction for a program the zoo was running, but our kids had other ideas in mind. Let's just say, Willem's nose looked like Rudolph's and he had stamps all over his body by the end of the day. Hard to hide my smirk but I held back and didn't take a picture, kind of wish I had now.
Willem estimating how big the sea lions are.
