Suprise Visit to LA

 

We decided to surprise Lita for her birthday and were in cahoots with Opa and Oom Rik. It was a quick weekend for Willem and Jason who needed to get back for work/school on Monday, but we had a great time.

We drove in Friday and Lita had no idea we were coming.

On Saturday we took the kids to Seal Beach. Audrey is officially a fan of the beach.

Tia Julie drove up from San Diego to horse around... We went to our standby Heritage Park which the kids love.

The kids are starting to get the hang of this....

They love to visiting Opa and Lita. Early mornings working in the garden with Opa is one of their favorite memories of our visits.

 

Willem flew back to Phoenix with Jason. The kids always ask to fly to California and do not understand why we drive so it was neat for Willem to get to fly home. The girls and I stayed a few more days so I could work there, no pictures but the girls had fun watching the World Cup and visiting Opi.
