Starting in June, we've been going to the movies each Friday with our friends. This has been Willem's first experience in going to the movies and he's loved it. He loves seeing his friends and the popcorn doesn't hurt either. It's fun to hear his thoughts after the movies. Charlotte's Web was our first movie and when we asked him what happened in the movie he said "Oh no pig".
Willem's wake up time has been quite sporadic lately and a bit too early for Moms liking. But one Saturday when Jason was working, I awoke to Willem patiently waiting by our bed saying "Park Mommy, park". When I realized it was only 5:45, we headed to the car in our PJ's and enjoyed an hour of playing at the park while it was less than 100 degrees. Willem was in heaven and had the whole place to himself.
We are thoroughly loving our Summer so far, spending time with friends and staying cool in the pool while we await the arrival of Ellie Rose. (who according to Willem will be arriving soon on a plane--how most people come to visit him)
