February - How many more days until Alaska??

Our cutie pie ballerina.

In February we were all ready for Jason to be home. I was way outnumbered by the kids and ready for Jason to be around at least some nights and weekends.

Willem is beyond caring for Audrey. He is so gentle and sweet to her. He swears her favorite song is Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star so he often serenades her with Twinkle Theme. She smiles big when he does that and claps. Willem loves being the first to see Audrey in the morning and is always asking her if she would like a toy or to play with him.

Willem's best friend at school, Jeremy, told Willem about the Renaissance Fair so we met up with his family there. The kids had never been before and they were quite fascinated. Mom came with us (otherwise a child may have been left at the fair) and we took in the shows and even did a couple rides. Their favorite was the jousting fight and a show where there were live birds. It was a lot to take in!

Jill has been my savior this month. She came with us to the kids dentist appts, dr appts and other outings that were overwhelming to fly solo on.

Love paint parties with good friends! Painted this one for Ellie whose favorite color is pink right now.

Sick visit. Cannot wait for the cold/flu season to be over!!!

The last day of the month we headed West to Alaska. My Mom and Dad both helped to make the trip go much smoother. We convinced the ticket agent to let my Mom go to the gate with us which was amazing. Dad gave us some of his miles which let us fly 1st class. Seriously the only way we survived that 6.5 hour flight. The 1st class attendant was like having a personal babysitter on board. The kids and I were completely spoiled. We were Alaska bound....
