Jason left for Alaska at the beginning of the month. He took our camera as well, so there are only iphone pictures for a couple months here. We missed him terribly the first few weeks and then got into the swing of him being gone. The two months went by pretty quickly and Mom and I were BUSY with the kids.
Willem is playing basketball and loves it. Ellie started dance and looks forward to going to Ms. Amanda's each Saturday afternoon. We've made her dance lesson into a special Mom/Ellie date and usually run an errand together afterward which Ellie loves. She's craving alone time with Mom right now.
Audrey is growing and changing so quickly. She's getting sturdier on her feet and wants to do everything Willem and Ellie do. She likes the trampoline when others aren't bouncing and enjoys playing outside.
Willem is busy playing with the Lego sets he received at Christmas. They seem to have replaced super heroes to some degree.
Overall the kids have been really helpful with Jason being gone. They are very protective of each other and completely mischievous as a threesome.
For Christmas, Grandma signed Ellie up for a Horse Hands class at the Zoo. Each Sunday they take a 2 hour class on caring for horses. Ellie loves animals and is especially interested in the horses. Most weeks she liked riding the horse around the coral and she always enjoyed learning how to care for them.
